Parkwyn Village in Kalamazoo, Michigan, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1947 as a cooperative community.
Wright designed Parkwyn Village (and four of the homes located here) based on a concept he called Usonian - a style of affordable housing for middle-class families that would redefine how people thought about their living spaces.
History
Learn about a neighborhood in Kalamazoo, Michigan that celebrated its 75th anniversary and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.
